HTML History

There are many different stages to HTML and it was developped over a period of time. HTML 2.0 is the basics or the standard for HTML and it is developed and maintained by W3C. HTML 3.2 was developed in the early 1996 and was developed by W3C along with several software companies such as IBM, Microsoft, Netscape Communications Corporation, Novell, SoftQuad, Spyglass, and Sun Microsystems. HTML 4.0 was first introduced in 1997 with greater features in the design of the pages. HTML 4.0 enabled features such as cascading style sheets (css) and dynamic HTML (DHTML).
